I was a part of Kristi’s first all zoom mediation training. I’m not going to lie – I was dreading every second of it. I’m happy to say, however, once it began, our group had a great time. We had fantastic speakers, helpful (but really fun) role-playing/simulations and learned a lot. I would highly recommend taking the training. Kristi immediately makes you feel at ease and makes the process fun!
The whole Powerhouse program was extremely useful, fun and engaging. I learned a lot, and enjoyed the fun you had inserting the “unexpected”. It was fun getting to know the others and I look forward to mediating in the future.
Bravo, Kristi! You put on a great course. And many thanks to everyone in the class. We had a wonderful group! You did a great job, especially with the online format. We have had a great teacher!
Kristi is a thoughtful, creative, well-prepared instructor for this course, which I highly recommend. The speakers were fantastic and offered unique and interesting perspectives and ideas about mediation that were very helpful in training to become a mediator.
I have participated in a lot of CLE programs over the years and several “Zoom” courses in the past twelve months and this was one of my all time favorite courses. Even if 30 hours is a substantial time commitment, it was worth it. The role-playing sessions were structured to allow us all to participate and get the experience we needed. The format and schedule provided sufficient breaks and variation to keep us all engaged and learning. The speakers were all very knowledgeable, as seasoned mediators with varied perspective, and they offered practical and considered advice. Kristi Paulson led the program in a constructive, thoughtful manner, making sure that we understood the objectives for each session and how it fit within the curriculum as a whole.
